2009 Christmas

So, Christmas is coming soon.

This is the 4th Christmas where I'm not at home.

1st year in 2006,
I spent this Christmas 2007 with my Indo friends in Beijing. We all gathered at Alvin's apartment at Furun, and do some Christmas present's exchange. It was fun, there were probably 18 Indos gathering together. I call my grandma's house to greet everyone merry christmas

2007, I spent it by stay over at Onni's house, together with Fiona.
First we have Christmas dinner at Thai restaurant near our school, BLCU, with Susi, Boh, Vidya, Donna, Belly, Hari, and I forgot who else.
In the end of the night Fiona and I headed to Onni's house, and do some christmas presents exchange over there, watch movie, getting crazy with make up :D
An I made a phone call to my grandma's house again to greet everyone :)

2008 I spent Christmas at office, working, since it's not a holiday in China, means I have to work.
So I did and I worked till 9pm with Chase, made phone call to Grandma's house, then ate dinner together at Papa John's Pizza (Chase's treat)

This year, 2009, I don't know yet. Most likely have to go to work. But I would like to ask a permission so that I don't need to show up at the office on the 25th. This will be the 1st christimas will Bill too ! Isn't it lovely :)
This Sunday will have a Xmas Party with Bill's colleagues, we did secret santa, and I bought a presents for Connie already (Bill's colleague whom I never met before).
Whats on the 25th, that is yet for me to know.


Next year my Christmas will be most likely to be in Seattle.

I miss Christmas with family....so much
the togetherness, the foods, the presents, the laughter, the warmth, the people.....

Dear family,
I miss you all...

We're excited !

We're both excited to start our new life together, next year.
He is excited to experience his old living place with the new person (Me!)
and I'm excited to experience the new living place with the old person (Him!)

We talked about it all the time.
What we will do, where will we buy our funiture, what we want in our house (we both want bean bag!), where should we celebrate holidays, how we're going to take our dog on a walk.
It is all very exciting so we're end up happy whenever we talk about it.^___^

It will be an interesting journey for me, to get to a new place, and get used to it.
And great that he is as excited to introduced and teach me how to survive on his land.

We're happy together :)

26th birthday

I am 26 y.o !
It was the 1st bday which I really not looking forward to, because of so many things happened in my life, and I was stressed out too.

Friends send their birthday wishes on SMS and FB wall, thank you so much, it means a lot for me :)

It turns out to be an okay day at work, and in the night time me and bill went out to the Gubei Rd and ate some street food over there.

Saturday I didnt work, and Bill took me for this surprise !!
He took me to a NICE 2 hours oil massage !!!
It was really-really nice, and the place was sooooo good.
And I felt so relax after that, and I didnt know that he is going to take me there !
Its a big surprise.
Thank you, dear.

After this very relaxing massage, we went to Ma Boon Krong to eat some Thai food, and took taxi home (we're lucky to get the taxi pretty fast, it was raining !)

Try to calm myself down....

So yeah,
lately I've been freaking out for things which happened in my life lately.

I've been worrying all the time, loose some weight and loose hairs.

So I decided to re-united with God, to seek for peace and calm.
Well, I haven't pray so much lately, but I think I could start over.
And today I finally feel pretty good.

I read the bible, and I read this blog which has the "daily bread", and feel good about it, I pray too.
And I also listening to Lukisan Pagi, a song by Tohpati ft. Shakila :

So, hope I will be in this spirit all the time, and I won't be too easy to worry about stuffs.

Memories of house maid

Since I was a kid, I almost always have a house maid.
She is there to help cleaning the house.
Sweep and mop the floor, wash and iron the laundry, watering the garden, dusting, clean the bathroon, etc.

Some of them stay for several years, while some of them only stay for few months or sometimes just 2 days !!

I still have some memories of them,  and I will share it with you.

Here they are.
1. Mba Mut
Mba Mut work in our house when I was in elementary school, probably when I'm in the 5-6th grade.
She was a teenager, probably around 15-16 years old.
She work at our house from morning to noon, and come again in the afternoon around 4pm to help mom watering the plants.

One time mom and dad went to Europe for 20days, and I stayed at home with my brother, Oma was in charge to take care of us, so she stayed with us. During this time, Mom instructed Mba Mut to stay in our house, so Oma could get any help in anytime.

Mba Mut sleep together with me in my bedroom. She sleep on the lower bed, and I'm on the upper bed.
She tell me some stories from her village, sometimes pretty scary one ! I got scared and end up sleeping while holding her hands.
She is also my 1st student, I taught her english, by gave her 1 page of dictionary to memorized, and give her the test the day after. It was fun.
She let me play with her hair (she is really clean), and she love to joke around with me.

From mom she learn to sew and make clothes, and now she have her own sewing machine and make clothes for other people in her village

Right now she is married and have 1 daughter. She sms my mom sometimes, and it's always good to hear news from her.

2. Mba Siti and Mba Sri.
They worked for us when I was younger, probably around 1st grade of elementary school
It was Mba Siti first, followed by Mba Sri.
Mba Siti can't read at all.
Both of them are very nice and patient with us.

Mba Sri quit to get married,
Mba Siti quit for a while, but end up working for us again later on.

3. Mba Enje
She used to be Tante Keng's maid.
But then she worked for us, I think since I'm in high school till now (there's a gap in between, which replaced by Marni)
She is nice, but a little bit lazy.
She is very honest and she is okay with dogs.
She give a good massage
and she is very chatty

Sunday Night (sigh)

I've been eating like crazy today :
2 bowls of my home made soup
1 bars of Meiji Black Chocolate 65grams
1 chocolate chips cookies 95 grams
half bar of Cheese
At least 5 toffee candies,
1 plate of Stir Fry Celery
All since 12pm.

And I still want some more.

Dudududu.....This happens every few months near my period. Woman !!


Bill is out playing pool with his friend, while I stay at home with Muffin, and try to do some online scrapbooking (I want to do the real scrapbooking once I'm in US)

It was a one fine weekend.
Staying at home alllll day

In less than a year.....

I will :


Quit my job
      I am looking forward for this one !

Prepare my wedding
     I will be getting ready to be the princess of the days, book the venue, foods, get my wedding dress made (kebaya, oh I loveeeee), get the souvenir, buy my ticket (and my family's) to the States, busy busy busy.

Getting married
     It's the BIG day !! Finally it will happen

Apply for a green card
     And find a job ASAP after it's granted

Move to USA
     Of course, after the marriage and everything

Change my name into Wynn
     It will become : Georgiana Natasha Marinska WYNN

Learn lots of things
Make new friends

New journey ahead, and I'm so excited !

Today I lost my engagement ring's diamond on an accident.
The diamond fell off I dont know here, while the ring still on my finger.
I was so sad and sort of having a bad mood in the morning.

Plus, the night before I didnt have enough sleep because of some stupid sms sent by an annoying person *sigh*

My day at the office was okay. It was busy.
In the end of the day I was so nervous because after several tracks and phone call, the DHL which I already sent out on Monday is still in HK !!! While it needs to be use tomorrow.
I'm a dead meat -____-

I don't know, but I have a feeling that tomorrow will be a hard day.
Hopefully it wont, but I am very scared and worried about it.



Another 7 full months to go.
And I will be free.
IT will be OK.

Saturday

Me and bill went to Qipulu (a cheap clothing market in SH) to get some cheap (but warm) pajamas.
It was around 1130 when we got there.
1st we bought our pajamas, 29RMB for a set of long sleeve-long pants pajamas a.k.a CHEAP !
Then we wander around and there's these guys who always offering to Bill "What do you want ?? Do you want a bag ? watches, sir sir !?!?"
1st-2nd encounter, those people aren't so pushy, but then on the 3rd guy, he IS !!
He repeat the same questions like any other people did.
We said : NO
But then this guy keep on following us, and keep on talking.
Again, we said : NO
But he didnt give up, he insisted us to go and see the stuffs that he sells (oh, they usually offer FAKE stuffs, u know, like fake LV, Abercrombie, etc)
We said no all the time, till we got really upset, And scream at him "WE DONT WANT ANYTHING !!!"
but he still following us *sigh*
Then we saw a hat store, we got in, and look for some hats, and that guy finally GO (to hell !!)

After a short time at Qipulu, we went shopping at Uniqlo....BETTER !
at least its a store. No crazy people there.
Bill bought a cool cardigan (old man style, I love!)
and I bought a belt with lots of studs... (YAY!)

And we went home

7pm I met so and Rossy at Istanbul, a Turkish Restaurant, get a goooood dinner and watch 2012 after that.
It was nice to meet my friends !
And the movie was good too (even though the seats are BAD *ouch*)

Sunday
Bill went to teach early morning.
I took muffin out to buy some vegetables, sharpen the knives.
Then I coook !!
I made :

1. Sayur Lodeh
2. Pisang Goreng
3. Bacan (pork with potato)
4. Telur dadar

ALL Simple food, but delicious !!

I especially love bacan, this is the first time I made it.

The recipe is :
Ingredients :

1. Pork meat
2. potato
3. red onion
4. lemon (1 is enough)
   
5. sweet soy sauce
6. cooking oil
7. salt and pepper
   

To Cook :

1. Diced the onion
2. cut pork meat into thin slices (1/4 cm width), marinade with half of lemon juice
   
3. cut potato (1/4cm width), deef fry them
4. put oil on the pan, put in the onion
5. Put pork and cook till its done, and all the juice is dry
6. put potato in, add Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
7. add the rest half of lemon juice
8. salt and pepper !

EAT !! :D


For sayur lodeh, dont forget to put in terasi :D
And for pisang goreng, mix the dough with CHEESE !! yummy.... :D

All the food went good !

So then I clean up the house, Sweep and mop the floor.
Do some laundries.

In the afternoon we watch Freaks and Geeks

My dear Fiona

This is Me, Fiona and Onni.
We always call her Onni, because she is older than us, but she is very young at heart ! Me and Fiona love her so much, we keep in touch with our Onni frequently.

But here, I will talk about Fiona...Happy reading !

Fiona is my classmates during my study time in Beijing.
She is malaysian, and we just click since the first time we see each other.
Me and her has been separated for more than 1 year, but believe it or not, our friendship stays, and we wrote to each other often.
I miss her dearly, and I always feel close to her.

Me and my dear sister fiona almost always complain about how hard our job is.
She got a crazy boss, and backstabbing colleague, while my boss is just like hers but my colleagues are annoying LOL

Recently she is having a hard time to motivate herself to go to work. She said "Don’t feel like working. I’m dragging my feet to work every morning. I hate such feelings.. I’m trying my best not to think about it but somehow it just doesn’t seem to work. I really hope that it’s april now. so that I can tender the resignation letter.. can’t take it anymore!!"

Oh gosh, so do I !!!

I can't wait till June to be able to leave this office, and get into the new life.
What do I know about my next life ?! Nothing, but I'm positive it will be less stressful.
I just have to believe that.

I woke up every morning and think "hooray, and new day ! hope it is a good day, and pass very fast !"
Yes, I motivate myself to face each day, so days will just pass me by.

Badaling Great Wall, End of Year 2007

I am planning to visit her sometime next year,on a holiday to Malaysia, and I am looking forward for it.
She said she will take a good care of us (I believe she will!), and she will do some savings to attend my big event next year ! :D

I miss her dearly. Oh, she will be 25 soon !

This Is It - Michael Jackson

First let me start by saying that I'm not a MJ fans, I never been.
But from today on, I will adore him.

I just got back from watching This Is It, and when I watch it, was awe by how great it is.
It's a movie about the preparation of MJ's concert.

Everything was great.

MJ
He changed, obviously. He is old and when the camera show his close up face, u can tell all sorts of plastic surgery have taken place.
But seriously, he is a great and talented artist.
He participate in every bit of the rehearsal and preparation. He is such a perfectionist person, so that he ask people to stop and do it as he said. But not in an arrogant way, instead, it sounds great.
He is a great dancer. It's hard to imagine to be able to dance like him. He controlled every single move.
His voice is amazing, it change from here and there all the time.
He is a true artist.
Like the crew said, he knows his music very very very well.

The Band
Believe it or not, the lead guitar is a GIRL !!!
Yay to woman (oh yes, I am Feminist !).
That girl, her name is Orianthi, and from what I read just now, she is only 24y.o !!
She ROCKS !!! or Pop ?!
Well, she is GREAT ! Her fingers move so fast and geez, she is just that good.
She plays guitar really well, and seriously, she is a GIRL !!
A girl who play guitar really really well, and she share the stage with MJ !
That is the deepest impression about the band, the guitar girl.
But I should say that the band is great.


The dancers
They came from....all over the world.
they got interviewed, and they're all fans of MJ.
Some of them was emotionally crying during the interview.
During the audition, it was a huge group of dancers. Like the audition for So You Think You Can Dance. And MJ was there to watch and pick his dancers.
In the end, they stick with about 20 dancers or so.
They are great too.
Seriously, big man with muscles, dancing their ass off. And sexy girls dancing and walk up and down the stage ?! Woohoo !!
There was one funny scene where MJ dance with his hand on his crotch, and when the camera shoot the floor in front of the stage, some of the male dancers was having their hand on their crotch as well. They're dancing with him...Haha....(well, at least I thought it's funny, lucky me !)

The Vocal
There is 1 girl who is still in my mind till now.
Her name is Judith Hill. She is pretty and her hair is neat !!
For a short time during the movie I was thinking to get my hair like hers. But I think it will be pretty impossible.
I love her voice and she looks very unique.
Very pretty !
I remember girls, eh ?
Well, not only that.
The vocals was great too.

The director, animation, behind the scene
I should say that this what should be a great concert was prepared really really well.
The director seriously know what he is doing, and all the preparation of the animation, the what so called "movie" for the concert was great.
They are so F**kin serious about this concert.

I can't imagine on how much effort they have put to make this concert. I have an idea, of course, but how could I know for sure ?

It is so sad that this concert will never happen.
It will be the greatest concert of this century, even just to watch the preparation, I could feel the adrenalin rush, and it makes my hair stand for several times.
Call me sentimental, but I feel grateful to feel this.

This is the first movie I ever watch in my life, where when the movie was ended, no one get up from their seats. Instead, they clap their hands, stick on their seat, still on the awe phase.
Believe me, I look over the studio, and people was sitting with their face facing the screen.
And remember, this is not an action movie, or drama or horror.
It's not even a movie !!

MJ, your death is such a BIG LOST.


I adore you.



PS : My vocab is not enough to describe how I feel about this movie. Not in English or Chinese, or even in Bahasa.
I highly recommend you to watch, eventhough if you are not a fans of MJ.

a recap

Its been a while since the last time I post anything on here.

I decided I will stay as long as I can, and I will fall down, but I will walk again, and for sure will be able to run again. It's ok. Life been so hard the last almost 2 years. But since I'm still here, I can hold it for another 8 months.

I should remember that this job will help to find the better new job in US. The experience is all that matters.
I should be able to support myself in US.

And if I feel like I can't take it any longer, I'll quit.

2. Halloween was fun. I didn't dress up or anything, but we went to Bill's collague's house, and there we met some other people, ate hot pot, play twister and UNO.
It was really fun !

3. The weather drop in a blink of an eye !
Saturday I still wear shorts and t-shirt, and suddenly sunday I already wearing training pants and sweaters !
Holy god !
And today, it is even worse.
Wind blowing really hard and it hurts my face.

4. I woke up with 2 piles of dog poop and 1 little pond of pee from Muffin.
Apparantly he got sick from the bone which we gave him last night.
He also threw up in right on our door mat just when Bill bring him back from the routine walk in the morning.
Our baby is sick.
Hope he will be fine soon.

So yesterday when Monkey call cheetah, cheetah asked me, do i want to talk with lion ??
Monkey said no need.

Half minutes after monkey hang up the phone, her phone is ringing, shown that cheetah is calling.
Turns out its Lion talking (shouting!)

"Monkey !! what do u mean by u dont have anything to talk with me ?? Are u crazy ?? We have so many things to discuss. Dont be "kurang ajar" to me ya !! Sialan banget kamu ya (same meaning like "F*ck u!")
What about the *** for this order hah ?? Have u decided ?!?
U shouldn't be so stupid, you know that ? Don't even dare to f*ck around with me ! Sialan sekali kamu ini !! bla bla bla bla....If you dont want to work, you dont need to wait till next year, u can quit now !!"

Monkey keep on saying "yes, yes, yes, i understand"

Phone hanged up.

Monkey's father turns out to be online, so Monkey, crying and typing at the same time, share this thing with his dad.
Monkey told him how Lion is angry, and Lion use Monkey's words against her. And that Lion said F*ck you to her.
Dad seems to be very upset about this.

Monkey share this with little bird and the deer, because they saw her crying...And they all supported her (thank you, friends)

Monkey went home and sleep

This morning, monkey receive an email from dad :
"Monkey, last night I called Tiger (Tiger is a good guy), and I told him how Lion been treating you and calling you. I told him that I dont mind if Lion called u stupid, or goblok, but saying
"F*ck u" is unacceptable. I raise you nicely, and I never say F*ck you to you. I told him that Lion must never have anyone come and shouting at him. Just because Lion give you a job, doesnt mean he can treat you like this. If you don't have any job, I still can feed you, no problem. Next time when he treats you like that, you should stand up for your self !! Don't just stay quiet"

Papa is really angry.And for me, its understandable. No one should treat ur kids like that. At all.
It's not proffesional.

Bill and I submit a petition for imigrant visa (fiancee visa) last July,
and today we just find out from an email sent by Zelah, saying that :
our petition got APPROVED !!!

Next step is to collect documents needed and apply for the visa !

Once upon a time in the Jungle

It all happens in the jungle.

There is a lion who don't like a deer.
The Lion thought the deer is useless, and that the deer doesn't learn enough of the jungle language.

Lion would like to get rid the deer out of the jungle.
So the lion told monkey " Monkey, I want you to put an eye on the deer. See whether he is usefull in the jungle or not, Listen to his language, always talk to him in jungle language, and see whether he understands or not. Then you tell me"

Monkey feels weird.
The deer is his best friend, but the Lion is the king of the jungle.

If the deer got kicked out from the jungle, means monkey's report got some part of it.
Monkey feel un-ease.

Monkey decided to talk with the deer.
To support him without really tell him whats going on.

Deer understands, and deer also feel that something "not so clean" is going on.

Deer show some improvement, but the Lion seems really dont like the deer.

We'll see whats the end of the story in the Jungle.

means monkey also watched by other animal in the jungle.

Monkey feels strange...like some jungle politics is happening here.

Back to my peacefull life, no more fear that a person will yell at me

9 days at Indo (day 9 : getting ready)

This is the last day.
I'm totally sad to leave home.

I had cried since 2 nights before, I'm so scared to go back.
But I have to.
Another 10 months to go till I'm done with my promise. I can do it and time will fly fast.

Me and ma start our day by take me to the accupressure therapist. My right pinky hurts and powerless, I don't know why.
We got there, and she is kind of a psychic, she told me that I shouldn't take the job problem to home, she reminds me to re-connect with God, and to get my own me-time.
Basically she knows what bothers me a lot for the last 2 years, my job. The ultimate source of my stress and not so happy life.

She told me that when I got some problem, I shouldn't panic first. I should calm down first, and think about my problem wisely.

I should listen to her.

Oh and after the therapy, my pinky doesnt hurts anymore.

Then we took bill to the Metropolitan Mal Bekasi, to eat noodle, then Bill bought some Batik shirt and ties, I bought birthday presents for Chase.
I also got some book at Gramedia to bring back to Shanghai.
And Bill bought some Indonesia traditional music.

After that we went to Carrefour to buy food to bring back to Shanghai.
Me and Bill shop like crazy.
Lots of indomies, and seasonings, and sweet soysauce, Hot sauce, and paste for food.

Back home and pack our bag.
I stayed at my parents room the whole time. Really hard not to cry, because I was so sad to leave home. The peaceful life of mine.

Around 630pm, after saw my brother and my sister in law, we left to airport.
We stop by at Nasi uduk place, then to My grandma's house.
We ate there, and then I pray in front of my Grandma's, ask her for helping me for strength, etc.
Then we left.

Arrive at airport, check in, then seat a little bit with my parents.
10.30 I go inside to the gate, and my parents + bill go home.
I didn't cry.
I'm so proud of my self.

Thats almost the end....

9 days at Indo (day 8 : around Jakarta)

Today Pa take a day off from work, and he will come with us to go around Jakarta.

So first we drove to Soto Betawi Bang Mus at Jatinegara Area,it was delicious, Bill loves it sooooo damn much !

After that we went to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, me and Bill wander around a little bit, while parents stay drove the car following us.

Then we saw the Komodo Dragon, and it was a fat one ! hahaha...but Bill was so excited to see the dragon,and so do I !!

We decided to watch the Imax Theater, and its about the Beautiful Indonesia.
The film is old, was made on 1978, but it was nice to see how beautiful my country is.
But also painful, because now Indonesia is kinda messy comparing to the old days.
It will get better, thats for sure :)

It was raining after the Imax, so I bought and umbrella and took the car to pick pa, ma and Bill.

Then I drove to Kelapa Gading Sports Mal, then we all get massage. It was nice and relaxing.
After 2 hours massage, I drove home, was so sleepy !
But I made it to arrive home safely...

It was a pleasant day with my family...

In the night time we got together again, with Maria-Rendy, Devi-Clemen, Me and Bill at Pizza Hut.
It was nice. Then we went to Devi's house.
It was so nice to talk with my 2 bestfriends since I was a kid.
And Bill is also nice to get himself busy, when we were talking.

9 days at Indo (Day 7 : shopping)

I woke up early in the morning, and as always, walk straight to my parents bedroom :)
We do some errands there...hehe...then took a shower.

Papa left for a meeting during noon, and me, ma and bill went to the mal !
We go to Plaza Senayan, and then walk across to Senayan City.

There I saw ARI WIBOWO !!!
I love to see him since I was a kid !
He is soooo handsome and tall !! Jeez ! I was so speechless, and I was so shy I don't even dare to ask him to take pictures... -_-"

Well, thats it.

Three of us ate sour sally,mom shopped a little bit at The Body Shop then we go back again to PS.

There I bought 2 bags ^_____^
YAY to nice bags !

After shopping we ate at foodcourt. Me and ma got bakso, while Bill ate some kebab.

After that we went back home, and in the night time I went to Devi's house.
Seeing Devi and Celine again. It was fun :)

9 days at indo (day 6 : the WEDDING DAY !!)

So this is the day !!!

I woke up at 4.30am, took a shower then together with ma left to saloon at 5am !
Mom's hair done first, and papa picked her up. My hair done around 7, and I drove home by myself.
When I arrived at home, the photographers are there, ma, pa and bro + bill already dressed up !!
I was in a rush to get my make up done, and put my dress on.

I'm ready, then we took some pictures before my bro left to pick up anita at her house (together with Bill, the best man)
PS : Bill was so handsome with suit and tie !! He looks soooooooo tall and big

They (brother and bill) left to pick up anita, me continue to finish my make up.
Around 10am we leave the house and go to the church.

It was nice to dress up and wear heels (eventho the heels was hell of pain !! ouch !)

Bride and Groom arrived, and Bill as well.

Ceremony took places. Everything went well.
The B & G drop some tears during the thank you parents time, its really touchy !

After the ceremony we went home and took a little rest, and by 2pm I went to saloon again and got my hair done (again !!)

Hair done, time to do some touch up on my make ups !
Add a little bit black eyeshadow in the corner of my eyes, and put the pink lipstick to match the dress.
Put on my dress, and I'm ready !!

I drove to the place with Bill, and picked up Edison (which turns out to be a big help) on the way.
It was raining REALLY HARD !!!
But at Kelapa gading, its all dry (thank god)

The party went well, food is good and everyone is happy.
I met some people that I know, and it was nice to see them all.

9 days at indo (day 5, Final Preparation)

In the morning, me, Ma and Pa took Bill to Hanindo Jakarta Office, because today Bill will gave a bicycle ride with Pak John. He arrived 1 hour late due to the problem with his bike's tire, then we left Bill with him. *Thanx, pak John*

3 of us ate bubur at Kota area, the go home.
Arrived home I went to my parent's bedroom, and fall asleep there till my Aunties came :D
Aunt Keng, Aunt Yeye, And Uncle Jaya is at our house. We are going to prepare the flowers for my brother's house decoration. So there I am, trying to help. ^__^
Done with the flowers, we brought them to my brother's house, and put them as decoration. WE also helped to clean up the house, so they could stay there for the next day.
Tomorrow my bro is getting MARRIED !!!!

House is done at around 3, oh, and around 11 papa went to pick up Bill at the office. After that Bill ate lunch and went straight to bed. He just rode 43km on bicycle !!!
Pak John, thanx again !

In the night time we grab some dinner together (me, pa, ma and bill), then we went to bed earlier.
We got to wake up early tomorrow :)

9 days at indo (day 4, meeting with Rian and JOJOBA)

So this is the day that I've been waiting for.

Meeting #1
I will meet Rian (and his son Carlson) at Mal Taman Anggrek around 3pm.
Me and Bill left the house around 2pm, and got a little bit stuck in the traffic so that we were 10 mins late for the meeting.
Rian is my friend from a forum which I joined. I often talk with her on YM. This is the 1st time I will meet her.
She is very nice. She brought us Ayam Bumbu Rujak !! and when I met her at Pizza Hut, she was feeding Carlson.
Carlson, 3y.o is very cute. He speaks only english !! communication between him and Bill went really well. In fact, Bill likes Carlson, and he took good care of Carlson while we, girls walk and talk the whole time.

We wander around the mall, and then we sat at O la la Cafe. Talk talk talk talk, and then Jojoba is coming, so Rian decided to go home.

We took her and Carlson to the lobby to take taxi, Carlson was carried by me, and then when he was about to get into the taxi (held by Rian now) he said "Aunty...Aunty..." *so cute !*

Not so long after Rian left, she called me and I can hear Carlson crying in the background... Haha, he misses us !!
And in the night time Rian text me and said "Carlson said that he misses uncle Wheel (Bill)"
Thats very sweet of him, and honestly, we love Carlson !!

And that day I met them, most of them !!
Itine, Ika, Yatty, Ledy, Sherly (+ Yansen), Penju, Devi (+ Dennis) oh, of course Bill still there :D
We ate at Little Penang, Malaysian food, delicious !!
And then we talk talk talk and talk.
After that, we walked to Mothercare (yeah, baby shop !! I love !!) since my friends need to by some gift, and then we went to eat Tutti Fruti, a yoghurt place and it was fun. Ledy got the most from all of us, it was funny !! Good old Jojoba, always Noisy !!!

Since there were so many of them I didnt get the chance to talk too much with each of them. But just to be there and surrounded by friends and good food is good enough. I laughed a lot that day. My friends are so funny !
Bill got accompanied by Dennis, and seems like they have good conversation there.

I took Ika, Yatty and Edison with me and drove them to their house before I finally arrived home at 00.00 and just sleep to dead. lol

It was a fun day for me and Bill (and suppose for my friends too)

Bill got a new watch ! YAY !!

9 days at indo (day 1-3)

Day 1,
15.30, Arrive at Soekarno-Hatta airport, and after waiting forever for my luggage, I got out and have my parents waiting for me !! YAY !! Soooo happy to see them.

We go to eat Sundanese food (Gurame goreng, Sayur asem, Tempe-Tahu)right away, and then we went to Pluit area, to take a short rest at Hotel Sanno, while we are waiting for Bill to arrive at 11pm.

It was nice in the hotel, we just talk talk and talk all the time in bed. And when its 11, we left to pick up Bill, which apparently has been waiting for us for a little bit. Poor little thing !

Then we went home :)


Day 2
In the morning,around 8 me and Bill went to the Chinese embassy at Kuningan area. Bill needs to get his Chinese working visa done. Arrived there around 9, then go through all the process and find out that we should have some documents photocopied. So we try to find photocopy place at Mal Ambassador, but too early so that they're not open yet. So we went out, and find a photocopy place. There we met a girl, named Rosma who is also doing her working visa. She works in Ningbo, not so far away from Shanghai. Me and her talk all the time and we promise to keep in touch (which so far we did)
After the embassy stuffs are done, me and Bill walk around at ITC Kuningan and ate some delicious Indonesian food (we ate Masakan Manado, yummy !) Bill bought another white shirt for my brother's wedding, then since we're tired, we drove home.
Aroun 6pm, All of us, Me, Bill, Ma, Pa, My Brother and Anita (his soon to be wife) go to Kuningan area again, to meet my boss at his restaurant. He treats us there. The meeting time is at 7.30, but he arrived almost 1 hour late.
The dinner was good, Italian food. But honestly, I prefer to eat Indonesian food. Thank you very much. Boss loves the way Bill ate. Bill ate a lot !! :D

Day 3
Today we pretty much stay spent our time to do some errands. I need to get my dress fixed, and we go around here and there to make the last preparation for my bro's wedding. It was nice to be around my family all the time. And my aunties loves Bill. They said that he is a very good boy. Haha, and aunties love to feed Bill. They make him eat lots of stuffs, which he happily did. I love him for he is very very nice. :)
And it is nice that he is really willing to communicate with them, and my aunties, conversation conducted in English.

Night time is time for the General Rehearsal at the Church. So we all went there, my family, Anita's family, then at the church we met Tante Keng, Tante Nani, Oom Jaya and Jason my cousin who is still at 3rd grade, he is the ring bearer for the wedding.

The GR went well, Bill and I know what to do, so does the bride and groom to be, the family member and the ring bearer. It was so hot at the church !!
After GR 2 families (mine and Anita) went to eat at Bakmi Simpur, near our house. After that we went home and my brother took them to their house.

2 nights ago me and bill went out from our neighborhood.
And there was some yelling happening (not by us, but those people near the gate)
I plug my fingers on my ears and walk away.

I hate when people yelling.

Tante & Cousins....

I live in Bekasi, and when I was a kid, on walking distance, 2 of my Tante (english : Aunt) lives near us.
I am so close with them, and their kids.

Then when I was in college, I have a memory with them, which I just re-call this morning.
So the story is :
That time my car is a Honda Jazz (or Fit in some countries), and its hatchback car, small, designed for 4-5 people.

One day, in the afternoon, during the college and school break, I promised to pick them up, and go to Hema Cafe near my house.
So, first I drove to their house, (10 mins driving),
and I load them into my car.
They are (mom and the kids below)
1. Tante Keng
2. Monique
3. Helen
4. Tante Nani
5. Putra
6. Jason

At that time, Helen and Putra is on elementary school, Monique is Junior High, and Jason might only 3-4 years old.

This time everyone sit peacefully on the car (well, its a little bit cramp, but who cares !)

Then we went to my house to pick up my mom, and here's where the arrangement of seats needs to be done.
1. Me driver seat
2. Mom and Jason : front seat
3. Monique, Helen, Tante Keng, Putra : back seat
4. Tante Nani : squatting on the back of the car !!

It was really hilarious to see my car cramped with them, but since everyone just laugh and happy all the time, so it is also really fun for me to drive with them.

The cafe is only 5 minutes driving, and it was the funest 5 minutes with my Tante and cousins (and my mom !)

I miss them so !

Muffin is ours !!

Remember last time I wrote about Muffin, our friend's dog who stay with us ?
Well, since yesterday, Muffin is ours.

Hesitant to go through all the troubles of bring him to Indonesia in such a short time, while there's lot of things to be taken care of, Bill decided that we should just keep the dog. So we asked the owner whether we can just keep it or not, and they are fine with it.
So for the rest of his life, Muffin is ours !

We will train him nicely so next year he can come with us to the States, and stay at Bill's mom house and not making any trouble.
We started to imagine him with his little backpack, take him on a hiking trip, sleep with us inside the tent, and bring him to the dog park.
Hope he will get along nicely with Sophie and Max (Bill's in-law dogs which I really love)
I also hope that we could train him to be off leash.
Ohhh...we have a dog !! for at least the next 10 years, we will have Muffin with us !

9-11 Dream

Last night I had a dream.The story is like this

I was in the dinner with CUSTOM colleagues. I saw Alberto, Marco Lusetti, Carlo, Danilo and Matteo over there.
We were having a nice dinner, and there is a window on my left side.
Danilo and Matteo were sitting beside me.

I think I might have some stain that someone is wiping it off my face, and I look to my left and I saw an airplane crashed on a tall building which probably only 1 km away from where we ate.
The plane crashed and the whole building is collapsed.
I heard people screaming and ran away all over the place.
It was a chaos.

I don't know what happen with Alberto, Marco and Carlo, Next thing I know is that me, Danilo and Matteo is going through all the chaos to my house.
I live with my brother, so we find him at home, and we asked him to go with us to the airport.
I gave everyone a backpack, and we fill it with food and a bottle of water.
We also took the dogs (2 dogs, 1 medium sized,white and the other is a yorkshire terrier) with us.

The four of us walking together, and it was scary town.
Almost like the story on THE CELL by Stephen King, but not as crazy. They're not zombies, but only human being.

We never reach the airport, because I woke up before the whole story ended.

And it was a tiring sleep.

Back to Bangs - Red Lipstick is HOT

After several months without bangs, yesterday I finally cut it !!
Chop chop chop...
Back to Bangs...
Its a little bit under my eyebrow, thick and straight like cleopatra's bangs... Yipeee !!
I'm so happy to see my big round face (with big wide forehead) now covered with bangs.
It feels like the old me. I always have bangs, thats it.

Before I went to saloon, I went to the mal to buy some hair clips and hair bands (everything about hairs!!), and I bought a dark blue shirt.

Came back home from the saloon, I do some experiment with the clothes and the hair.
And as the final, I put on my NEW (and only one) RED Lipstick which I bought last Saturday.

Yayyy... !
I finally dare to wear RED lipstick.
Lalalala....

And tell u what, red lipstick is just like a miracle in the make up world. Haha...
Once u put it, ur face is shining in a second !
Nice-nice-nice.

So, I think I will hunt for some other red lipstick in some different shade.

It's just beautiful, I love it.

Oh, in case u are wondering, I dont wear red lipstick to work.
My colleague dont need to see me with red lipstick (yet) LOL.

Winter is coming, and what else is more interesting than going out in a gloomy winter day with nice hair clips, straight bangs and red lips ??

Yesterday me and Bill went to a dinner at an Indian restaurant with his co-workers.
We rode our bike to get there, and tell u what, it was hell.
The place was so far away, and we don't really know how to get there.
And I was angry and tired. Cheered up a bit during the dinner, and got angry again on the way back home which took at least ONE (long) hour.

Today we went to cellphone market. And Bill bought a phone. I was in a bad mood.
Then Bill went out with his co-worker, and I stay at home for a while, then I went out to grab dinner with So and Rossy.
Dinner was fun, lots of laugh.
Then we went to HuaiHai Rd to see the Shanghai Tourism Festival.
Too crowded, so the shorty hardly see anything

Then we went to Sephora and I tried RED lipstick, and I bought it !!
I always want to wear red lipstick, and I finally have one !! :D

But then Rossy told me that the school which I teach english for part time dont want me to work there anymore.
Its because I'm a beginner, but I can't join their Thursday meeting where people got trained and explained about the class. The important part of get urself improved. I told her I understand (I DO understand) and I acted like I don't care, but I actually DO care.
I feel sad.

Around 11.45 I arrived home, I saw that my new bike is missing. The bike which I bought 6 DAYS ago got STOLEN.
This is ridiculous. My 400RMB bike got stolen, while bill's 1500RMB bike is still there. Not that I wish it was his which got stolen, but I mean....I don't understand. And it's using the same lock too, Kryptonite, which according to Bill, it's really hard for people to steal it.It's a great lock, according to him. That's why I decided to give it a chance to buy another bike.
But I've learned my lesson. That words are not supposed to be trusted and that after loosing 4 bikes, I should've know better. But I still bought a new bike. And now, after 5 bikes stolen, I think I'm done with bicycles.

Today I told bill that instead of getting annoyed by him smoking cigarettes (Oh yeah, I hate it soooo damn much), I think I should just try to smoke. So then we will be the same and I can't annoy someone who smokes if I smoke too.
This way, I prevent myself from getting angry every time I see him smoking cigarettes.
I seriously will do this.

So, today sucks.

sleepy head

Last week was a hardcore in Beijing.
It's the whole torture physically and mentally during the preparation of the exhibition.
Lack of sleep, tired mentally and physically.

Soon after I got back from Beijing, the "old friend" is here.

Means it's double up all the craziness.

Both of these combined = Sleepy head.

I sleep like dead since Sunday till today. I slept like around 9-10 and will not wake up till next morning 7 am.

Sometimes I didn't even know that Bill took the dog out before he go to bed.
It is nice to be deadly sleep.

Hope u get a good sleep as often as I do lately. :D

Perfumes....

I am not a big fan of perfume. And I don't hate it either.
I just don't really care about perfumes, and not even bother to put perfume on me.

If I should pick my favourite perfume, GUCCI-Nobile is the winner.
This is the perfume which reminds me of my childhood. My dad has it, and he always wear it.
It smells so good, so that I am addicted. Sometimes I even put it on my wrist to smell it all day long I'm at school.

I love it so much and been looking for it, too bad so far I'm in China, when I passed through perfumes counter, they never have it.

Last time my boss's friend came to China, he gave me a small package with 5 tiny perfumes on it. I tried all of them, I like none.

And a week ago I'm in Beijing, I picked up Carlo and he gave me Dior-J'Adore. It smells good, I wear it 2 times, but haven't bother to use it again.

I think people smells better without perfume. And I think some people needs deodorant more than perfume.

Happy sniffin, people !

1st Bachelorette Dinner

Yesterday Chase invited me to join on her bachelorette dinner at Xinjiang Restaurant on Xujiahui Area.
She carried me on my bike from the office to the place, which about 30 minutes of bike ride !!
On the restaurant I met 8 other of her friends.
We ate dinner, and they talk (I listened), in Shanghainese. I can understand the topic, but since I'm a starter in Shanghainese, I don't really know what's going on. But since everyone is so nice, and the food is good, I enjoy every second of it.
It was nice.

Chase is getting married today. September 9th, 2009. Or in Chinese way, its written 2009.09.09,means Forever-Forever and Forever.
I hope to the max that their marriage will last FOREVER.

She and her-soon-to-be-husband-boyfriend is already in the government office. They will get registered as husband and wife today !!!

I am so thankful for Chase to invite me. This is my 1st time. Eventhough some of my bestfriends are married, but I wasn't there to follow the whole process. While with her, I knew it all the way. And I felt like I'm involved with her marriage more than any of my friends before. So happy for her, and so happy that she is so nice to ask my opinion, and share some heart-to-heart conversation.

Their wedding party will be held next year on October.
I wish I could come, but we'll see.
Hopefully I could come to China to attend her wedding, and I hope we remain best friend always.

SEX and work ;)

For the last 6 days, I was in Beijing for a business trip, taking care this so called Beijing Financial Exhibition.
I am responsible for the booth, the goods, the hotels, the taxi, restaurants, the car, the show ticket, and anything u can name... (HAHA !!)

It's been nice to be back in Beijing, the city which I really love, with it's big and wide street, lots of trees, and people are so much friendlier than Shanghai. I love you, Beijing. I'm so glad to be back.

Even though it is nice to be in Beijing, it's also stressful. I was stressed when lots of changes made on the booth, which will cost us some money which I should be responsible at, plus there was this major change decided by my tall colleague about the panel proven to be useless, because the bosses decided to use the old panel with a little bit of cutting on the bottom part. But, by the time the bosses decided, the new panel is about to be done. I should talk to him about this pricing.

Then it was stressful when I need to take over the hotel reservation stuffs in Shenzhen, because only know roughly about this matter, and suddenly I am responsible. But I did it, even though I got scolded a little bit.

Most of the dinner time was nervous. Only 2 times (yesterday and today) that the dinner is relaxing for me, so that I can eat a lot. Like usual, boss in the bad mood, and he became very emotional.
But anyway, he is my boss. As much as he made me stressed and depressed, I know I just love him as he is (-When he is NICE !! -)

About sex....
Sex scene #1 can be read on my previous post titled "I'm Disgusted", that's the first time I saw people having sex, LIVE SHOW for 2 seconds (maybe not even)

Sex #2 was yesterday, Sept 3, when in the night time I came out my bedroom and at first I though it was a laughing noise, but then I realized that it's a girl's moaning noise...

That girl was LOUD...! hahaha....
Now I regret I didn't knock on their doors... :p

Sex #3 was today, when I was on the way from boss's hotel to mine. On the traffic light, I saw an apartment on my right side, on the second floor. I saw a room with the curtain opened a little bit.
I saw a couple kissing, then the man take off his shirt, then I saw two heads going down (I bet they are heading to the bed!!)

I'm disgusted

I'm in Beijing for an exhibition.
And today we move from 1 hotel to another one because its closer to the boss's hotel, easier to have a meeting.
My colleague helped me to move my luggage from old to new hotel because i was really busy to go with him to new hotel.
Arrive in my hotel at 11
Got my passport copied
Took my luggage from my colleague's room heading to my own room
No 512
Swap the Ic card,
Heard someone said something
Open the door
FOUND A COUPLE IS HAVING SEX !!!!!!!!!!

DISGUSTING !!

Went downstairs, yell at the receptionist :
THERE IS SOMEONE HAVING SEX ON MY BEDROOM !!!!!!
And I threw my room card to them.

I didn't change to a new hotel, because it was late plus I don't really know where to go.
So I stay and they give me a new room.

I'm so pissed off...and paranoid. I'm scared someone is getting into my room
Hate it.

SUCKS !!!!!
