I am excited!

On June 24th - 27th, 

I will get to see this girl :

My BEST friend FIONA will be my bridesmaid for the wedding reception in Jakarta.

I knew her when I was studying Mandarin Chinese in Beijing back in 2007. She was my class mates, we went study and shopping together.

She has a super positive attitude, very polite, and considerate, also cheerful, which are the reasons I love being with her. Her only flaw is that she live too far away from me (or me being far away from her :p)

I only known her for about 5-6 months before the semester ended, and she went back to her hometown in Malaysia, while I moved to Shanghai. But we kept in touch.

It wasn't till July 2010 I flew to Malaysia with my mom, and get to spend few days with her.

I love her and I really can't wait to see her....

If you see this pretty girl on my wedding day, she is my best friend!

it is okay

During life, you will encounter a lot of people

And you develop relationship with them
you become close, and they became your friends

Some are best friends, good friends, old friends, study friends, and some are true friends.

As time goes by, you see things are different.

Maybe they grow so fast and you are not,

or you feel like you are growing, and they stay in the same place.

And you feel things changed.

You don't interact with them in the same way you did before.

Comments became irritating, insulting, hurting.

You got frustrated to share ideas, opinion, or even just being you,
 and sometimes you just don't want to say anything, to avoid arguments.
And then you came to a realization.

You've grown apart.

We are no longer in the same places.

We are no longer able to share a good conversation, without wanting to hurt each other.

We are no longer enjoy each other companion.

And it is okay.

The statement "friends are forever" is not true.

And if you count the amount of people you've became friends with,
you'll see that not all of them are still your friends today.

They may became enemies, or those who you consider as "People that I used to know"

And it is okay.

This doesn't mean that you have to hate them,

or to cut the relationship with them.
They can still be a friend,
or those people you used to know.
No one is to be blamed on.

It's just you go into a different direction.
You just have to accept that. 

Therefore words of jealousy won't hurt you.

Comments won't be irritating.

Just because you've known them for years,
and they were your best friends before,
doesn't mean they will be forever.

And it's fine. 

There is nothing wrong with it.
People change, and changes are good.

Because in life you will find a true friends.
True friends are there to stay.

Together you grow to become a better person.

True friends cherish each other, and be happy for each other, and mourn together.

True friends don't get jealous, or underestimate you.

True friends are there whenever, ready to catch you when you fall.

They are proud for your accomplishments.

This is an important understanding that I got today.

And I feel so much better.

I will be happy no matter what.
I have true friends, best friends, study partner, people that I used to know, etc

Life is great and growing is an essence of life !

I woke up this morning because my phone was vibrating, I open my eyes a little bit, and I saw that the name starts with Ma....
So I thought, Maria !

So I talked, and for a while I kept on saying "Thanx, Mar, how's Lionel, etc", then....she said "I was sleeping, but I asked papa to wake me up, because I want to call you"
It's my MAMA on the phone !!! LOL
And I thought it was Maria !! "很笨， 不认识自己的妈的声音“ (-_-")

And this is what happened on the 1st day of 27 y.o :

Must love these people, because they're so nice to me.

I am the luckiest person to be surrounded by them.

The past 2 days I've been going out with friends (Michelle and Andrew) a lot.
It almost feels like I'm in Indonesia (despite the fact that I'm the one who needs a ride, instead of giving people a ride).

I am so happy.
They keep me busy and laughing all the time.
It helps me to like living here more and more.

Fall 2010 Quarter

Is OVER !!!

We did the final test on 1130 this morning,
done by 130.
and that's it.

Michelle took me home, and we stop by Burger Master, a drive in burger place, where u order from your car and eat in your car.
So I'm no longer virgin to Burger Master, thanks to her.

What I get from this quarter :

1. Super nice and sweet friends : Morgan, Michelle, Randi, Andrew and Amos. I heart them.
2. A lots of knowledge on Bio, Chem and some environmental science things (water borne diseases !)
3. Self confidence, knowing that I can survive this busy class, and maintain a good grade.

Among all of it, I am grateful for having such a good friends

On Winter quarter, I am taking :

• Human Anatomy and Physiology (Bio241)
• Introduction to Statistics (Math130)
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NU22)

Sad thing is, next quarter I won't be in the same class with Andrew, Morgan and Amos at all.
I will be with Michelle on the whole 18 credits I am taking.
And I will be with Randi on A&P.

I showered around 3pm, and get my hair done.
I want to make it curl, without curling irons 
So I did this :

I leave my damp hair like that for almost 2,5 hours, and I point hairdryer on it ever once in a while. In the end I got hardcore and point it for almost 10 mins. My head feels burn.

German Town, Leavenworth

There is a tourist destination at Leavenworth, called German Town.

A town, modified so it looks like a little town in Germany.

I went there with Seni and her family, and some of her other friends.

It was a beautiful sunny day, a little bit cold, but really nice.

It takes about 2 hours to get there.

The BLAST Reunion....

The BLAST is my group of friends since I was in SMU Marsudirini.
My friends (the boys) formed a basketball group, and since then, we (the girls included) are known as Anak Blast (Blast Kids)

Nice ? YES ! :)

During my holiday, I wanted to see them, after not seeing them for almost 5 years (esp the boys, since I still see the girls every once in a while).

So an arrangement for reunion is made.

Frenki will fly all the way from Lampung to get together with us.

Erik helped a lot through the whole process.

He popped up with an idea to go to Puncak, and once its confirmed, he booked the villa and take care the rest while I'm gone to Malaysia and Singapore. Thanx Erik, and also everyone ! :)

I was super excited to get to see them again.

Those who confirmed to go are :

Devi-Clement-Celine, Sentio, Erik, Raymond, Frenki, Andri (Sentio's cousin), Feri, and in the end, Nadya (Frenki's gf back in highschool) as well.

The trip is on Saturday, July 17 - 18.

On Friday night, we did gathered to talk about the departure time, which is set to be 9am the next morning,

and at Feri's house, he gave us the new Blast Jacket !

On Saturday, f sentio, raymond, devi-clement-celine, andri and me, divided into 2 cars departed at around 11am.

In the afternoon, erik, feri and nadya in 1 car will see us at the villa.

The villa was nice and clean.

1 bedroom is for Devi's family, and the other is for Nadya and me.

The boys sleep downstairs on the couch and on the extra mattresses provided.

It was a really good Trip.

I think everyone are having fun.

It was so nice to be together with people that u know for so long, especially, they are still the same old selves.

Oh well, there are some changes in SIZE, Raymond is getting skinnier (really looks good on him) and in the opposite, Sentio gained some weight and become a little bit chubby (though I think he looks better than before!), and Feri gained some weight and got some muscles built on him.

Personality wise, still the same silly people from the old days.

I surely will miss them all.
We talked about having another grand reunion of The Blast in 5 years, that time, we will all having babies ! And probably our babies will fall in love and then we could become in laws ! hahahaha....dreams won't kill u !
