January almost ended !!

Life has been so busy for Bill and me.
We both are in school again for Winter quarter, and my schedule has been so crazy !
I practically do nothing but Study, sleep and commuting.

I woke up at 5am almost every morning, and be in class from 130-1030, Mon-Fri, and another class from 5-9pm 3 days a week, and on top of it, I have class on Sat from 11.45-4 pm.
I study or do homework in between classes with Michelle, and usually crashed when I got home.

But its fun.
I managed to get Bill's birthday quilt done, I got drivers license and Green card now.

I got clinical schedule for Feb 20-23rd, together with Michelle at the Nursing home, from 145-1030pm (plus school like normal in the morning !!!)

Busy but FUN !

Winter quarter

Hi, this is 2011, and I've started my winter quarter for a week.

With the crazy schedule, I woke up at 5am every morning, take a shower, eat my breakfast, and leave the house by 6am.

Bus arrived at 6.23, and I'll be at school at 7am.

Class starts at 7.30, ended at 9.20am

And the next class is at 9.30 - 10.30.

Free

But, started from next week,

I will be most likely to have 4 days where I have a class from 5-9pm, and a Saturday class from 8am-4pm.

It's the NAC class.

And I know for sure that I will be exhausted.

Tired to death.

And I will be busy with my study, and I'm pretty nervous about how I will get everything together.

And keep up with my study.

But it will only be 12 weeks.

So, just hang on !

2010 - a Recap

2010 has been a wonderful year for me, this is what happened :

1. I quit my job, and finally stress free
2. My mom came to China, and together we went back to Indonesia 
3. 2 months of super awesome holiday
4. Lots of chatty nights with Nikke
5. I have a nephew named Cedric
6. Got married to the most wonderful person in my life <3
7. Muffin flew to US
8. Traveled to SF and see Meike again after a long time
9. Starts school, and gain precious friends : Michelle, Morgan, Randi and Andrew <3
10. Own a sewing machine and actually made something.
11. Got my 1st scrubs in Caribbean blue
12. 1st cowboy boots

2011 is coming, and lots of things to look forward :

1. NAC, A&P class
2. 2 weddings, one in April, one in June
3. HOLIDAY !!!
4. More friends
5. and lots of other things.

So, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

2010 Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas, by eating hotpot, open Christmas presents and went to Church.

I got a blanket, pink stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, gait belt, red sweater, all from mom and an 8GB IPOD touch 4th generation from Bill !!!

I was really happy :)

Bill love the LL Bean sweater I got for him, Grant loves his presents, and so does mom, Sarah and Dennis.

We all had a great time.

Bill and I managed to went to 9pm mass at HFK Church. The choir was really beautiful and the handbell choir was just great.

It was a wonderful Christmas, and we can't wait till we get to celebrate Christmas with our kids.

Snowboarding trip

We went to Bend, OR from Dec 17-19, for a snowboarding get away.
It will be my 1st try on snowboarding, and I'm excited.

I borrowed my mom in law's snow bib, and got it coated with some water repellent, and Bill waxed his board, packed our bags, and we're ready to hit the road.

It took us 6.5 hours to get to our destination, and it was a pleasant drive with lots of tress and beautiful view.
We arrived in late afternoon, then we went to downtown, and take a little walk and eat dinner, back to hotel, take shower and get an early sleep.

We woke up early on the next day, getting ready to go, and as we got into the shuttle bus stop, we find out the earliest bus is for employee only.
So we went back, bill chained the tires because the road was so snowy.
Long story short, we hop on the next bus, and take the 30 mins ride to Mt Bachelor.

Once we arrived, we immediately rent the shoes and board for me, and got me registered for the the 2hrs lesson.
I was excited. Man the boots were heavy ! and makes me walk kinda funny.

Me and 3 other girls took the lesson with our coach, Alex.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
We take the lift to go up the hill, and going down was fun !
I fell a lot on my butt in the snow, and I fell real hard a couple of times till I feel dizzy for a bit (my neck still hurts till now), but I kept on going, and it's all paid off.
I know how to snowboard in the end of the day.

I'm done at around 2.45. I was so tired.
The way back to the park & ride was miserable, because I was so dizzy and nauseous, and I just crashed into bed after soak my body in hot tub.

Driving home the next day was scary,
the road is extra snowy (more snow fall in the night time), and we have to drive real slow, and we saw tons of car got spun all the way to the side of the road and need to be towed.

All in all, it was a nice gate away.
We had so much fun, and I definitely will go snowboarding again !
