We're Bookworm

Ever since the book seller near our house offer special price for RMB25/500gr of English Books, we are (read : Me) buying books like mad !!

In the past 3 weeks I think we've bought 30 new books in total.

And we're only 2 person, in this tiny apartments, and owned at least 130 books !! (I just counted, and I stopped at 112, and I saw there are still stack of books behind my purse, and I'm too lazy to get up and count)

We read most of them, but we have so many new books waiting to read.

I read his books, he never really read my books (I have some books in Bahasa, and my English books collection is not quite fit onto his taste), and I read so much faster than him.

I believe in our future house, we will have so many books, and we always talk how we want to have our own library, racks of books.

Conversation

They gave me 2 months to find another job

Oh, thats not bad. I mean, you should start to ask people who might be able to help you. And in this 2 months, you should work hard to show that you're good.

I know. She asked. I told her I'll explain when we meet, she still insisted to know.

Then tell her, but also she shouldn't get upset first, tell her you will share the details when you meet her.

I know. She will be upset though.

Being upset wont change anything. Instead, she should use that anger to support you.

I know. But she will make me feel guilty about this. She dont need to do that, I already feel guilty.

Then you shouldn't feel bad about it ! If you know she is the person who give pressure, then you should fight. You should use the guilty feeling as a motivation to proof to YOURSELF and to her, that you are great.

What else can I do, it is her character.

How could you say that it is a character ? And why does she wants to live with that kind of character ?! She can change it if she wants ! This is not something that we should just accept.
It's just like if you are a lazy person, then you will just accept it as a character of a person ?

the news

Just got a shocking news from home.
And today all my energy and mind got all sucked to this news.
Whatever it is, hopefully it is just for the best.
I love you brother.

What's on 2010 ?!

Here are the list of things to look forward in 2010 :

1. Chinese New Year
2. Interview for the Fiancee Visa
3. Leave the office for good
   
4. Going back to Indonesia
5. Seni's baby and finally meet Seni
6. Wedding preparation (get to choose my wedding gown...oh yeah !)
7. Learn how to sew with mom at her new sewing room (which used to be my bro's bedroom)
8. Getting together with my family for the longest time since the past 4 years.
   
9. Departure to Seattle
10. My family in Seattle, would love to take them around the city, and on a day hike.
11. Wedding in Seattle
12. New family members
    
13. New life and new experience, get to know new places and new friends
14. 1st Thanksgiving
15. Hiking
16. Christmas
17. Wedding at Indo

Instead of lots of things I look forward to, there are things which will be hard to leave behind in Indonesia. My family and friends are all there. I will miss them heaps.

But technology is good now, and I'm sure I should be able to talk with my parents (family) often, and we will work hard to, so that I can be go home or take my family to US for a long holiday.

Life should be good.
Thats just how it should be.

2009 a Recap

Private Life
I started 2009 by having a party with So, Rossy and Stefan at Luna, Xintiandi Area Shanghai.
With hundreds of text messages, and some phone calls, and glasses of drinks, it was FUN.
I end up drunk and threw up at Luna's toilet, stand in the queue waiting for taxi for 2 hours with So, Stefan, Rossy and Lidia.

Then in the end of January I went home, and Bill came to visit, I introduced Bill to my big family on the CNY, we got lots of Hongbao, and here is some pictures :

Then we went to Jogjakarta and Bali with my family (mom and Dad) to have some relaxing holidays

July 11th, 2009, I got myself a Tattoo !!!!!

I got it at Shanghai, Maoming Rd, with Irene accompany me.

I've always wanted a tattoo, and I've spent soooooo much time to think whether I should get it or not.

I finally did.

Here it is :

It is a fairy (even though lots of people see it as a butterfly... T__T)

My parents been so cool about it, they heard me talking about tattoo since I was in the college :p

Life been okay for the most part of my private life, and we head back to Indonesia again on the end of September, and this time is for my Big Bro's Wedding

We celebrate our 3 years anniversary, and My Birthday and Christmas together.

At the end of the year I wasn't so healthy. I catched a bad cold, went to doctor on Christmas day, and she told me to get a 3 days Iv. So I did. My first IV ever, for a cold !!!!

Working Life

SUCKS ! It made me drop more tears than ever before.

So much more responsibility, more things to do, and more scolded.

But in the other part, my relationship with our partner's is getting better.

I made friends with Danilo and Matteo,

I called the export department more, and they get to know my voice now! :D

In the end of the year I made a mistake which drive me crazy and I almost lost my sanity.

Everything settled now and I will just do better.

I went to Beijing to take care of the exhibition, and got some fun time with Matteo and Danilo when we're covered in the dust to see the booth progressing, and plus Alberto when we went to the electronic market !

And Yeah, I saw sex action life, and I heard them too !

Books I read is ranging from the lame books (chicklit), and cool books (those which won award ! hahaha.... :p )

I need chicklit  every once in a time, because they're so easy and predictable, so you can just simply read without thinking. A good way to entertain yourself and idling your brain. HA !

But on December 2009, the book seller near our house sells book for 25RMB/500gram. So far I have spent  about 200 RMB (It is so cheap, even at Indo or US, u can't buy books that CHEAP !!)

and I am currently reading few books at the same time, they are :
